Good food for a good price!

Me and my bro go here every Saturday morning when on my off week. The breakfast is amazing and affordable. The service is great and the employees make you comfortable.

Very good old style cafeteria food. Meat and three. Homeade deserts and well. A old time Anderson establishment beside Anderson courthouse. Cash only! Don't forget!

The food is consistently good. The owner greets me upon every visit. The employees are hard working people and they sure know what they are doing in that kitchen. The price is fair for the quality of the food I recieve. My go-to place every Sunday.

Won't eat there again things have changed here

This restaurant feels like home. From the moment you walk in to the brief time later when you get your food, you may as well be at your grandparent's. I ate breakfast here and felt very welcome. Prices are excellent for students and old folks alike. As a commuter, I stopped by here between classes and was not disappointed. Bring cash!

Oh My God !!!!!!! Bar b que pork chops thick cut and you get 2 plus 3 sides, bread and unlimited tea! My fave lunch place. There is always 3 or 4 sides that work as dessert!

This was the best home cooking buffet I've EVER had! I would have sworn that my mama was in the kitchen. But everything was cooked to perfection. 😁😁

Classic meat and 3. The food is very good but it's traditional South Carolina cuisine so may not appeal to all tastes. Ever had pear halves filled with mayonnaise with cheddar cheese and a cherry on top? If you have, you'll enjoy The Meeting Place.

Always good service and food

First off I had to wait a while to get my turkey and dressing to go. I live in Honea Path so there is some distance I drove. I got back home and they had cover all my turkey and dressing in that nasty gravy. I just dropped $7.89 for something I can not even eat. What makes it crazy is I filled out my order and no where on it said gravy so I have wind up feeding it to my furbabies. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.

This is some good old soul food

Good "meat and three" cafeteria style food. Servers are very fast and nice. Would help if there were signs listing what the choices are as it seems like the people putting the food on the plates don't have time to discuss the options due to the crowd.

Food is good but not consistently. Some of the ladies working there could use better customer service attitudes. Forget calling to place a to go order they will either not answer or put you on hold until you are hung up on.

Friendly staff and good food

Great traditional diner food! Went here for breakfast and was surprised at how little everything costs. The food was good and the ingredients were high quality. The staff made sure my coffee never got too low and the environment was super chill and laid back.

The meeting place was delicious the first 2 times I went. I made the mistake of going in on a Sunday morning. I sat in the booth for 15 minutes as several employees walked around but would not acknowledge me. No hello, no comment, no drink orders nothing. I was severely disappointed by my Sunday morning trip to the Meeting Place.

Cashier was rude. Waitress was great. Sweet potato soufflé was good. Broccoli was good. Canned chicken was bad. Restaurant needs updating severely.

What a blessing. Been walking round Anderson looking for a job walk in here and dang if it wasn't like God himself pulled me into this place a woman was working and blessed me and my ol lady with a hot meal again thank you Rita!
